As our Summer Jamfest continues with four great, fun summer concerts, we get set for a new season!
What a great and challenging year this has been! Three wonderful theatre productions that pushed us to the edge of our creative abilities while introducing new work and new authors to you, our dedicated audience. Each year presents new opportunities and we are proud to give you, our loyal patron what promises to be a delightful season mixing the old and new.
We kick off September 24th with The Doo Wop Project featuring current and former stars of Broadway's smash hits 'Jersey Boys' and 'Motown The Musical'. We kick off our theatre season with the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily. In this delightful mystery, Sherlock is not only aided by the trusted Dr. Watson but by his good friend Oscar Wilde. We continue with the musical treat Mary Poppins and later in the spring the world premiere of last season's Women Playwrights Series hit, The Surrogate. The Black Box Fringe Festival features three greats shows including Kick staring theatre and film star Joanna Rush, Hard Travelin' With Woody, an award winning multi-media show packed with the music and spirit of Woody Guthrie, and the Drama Desk nominated, The Other Mozart, about Nannerl Mozart, the equally talented sister to Amadeus.
Our special events include everything from The New Jersey Ballet's Don Quixote to a Louis Armstrong Tribute and the Nai - Ni Chen Dance Company's family production, The First Chinese New Year. It's too much to detail here so take a look and get set for the ride of a lifetime. Whether its theatre, dance, music events or free wheeling jazz, we have something for every appetite and every pocketbook.
See you in September.
P.S. - Order now to get your favorite seats!
Sincerely,
Carl Wallnau
