PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre

Description

We’re excited to have you with us as we set the stage for a season of massive humanity. At PCPA we remain passionately engaged with the work of today even as we lift our eyes to the future. As a conservatory theatre we have a singular commitment to excellence, manifest in a dual form – stellar artistry created for our community today and a great investment in training the artist for the future. Reveling in and revealing what’s happening today, while shaping and sharpening ourselves for tomorrow.

This season at PCPA we’ll share great stories about how we identify what’s really important in our own lives and in our connection to others. The things that matter in the ties of family and faith that bind, our ubiquitous problems and universal hopes, our world shaking words and the love for which we’d risk everything. If our stories and our connection to one another doesn’t matter – what matters? What could matter more than understanding ourselves, our family, our community, our world and then translating that apprehension and empathy into connection and positive action? Figuring that out, imagining how to do it, is part of what makes the reflective power of art so important in our individual and corporate lives. We think you’ll get glimpses of that on the stage today.
