Mary Moody Northen Theatre operates on a professional model and stands at the core of the St. Edward's University professional theater training program in the Department of Performing Arts. 

Through the Mary Moody Northen Theatre, students:

• Work alongside professional guest designers, directors and actors
• Earn points toward membership in Actors' Equity Association — the union of professional actors and stage managers in the U.S.
• Explore all facets of theatrical production

Mary Moody Northen Theatre operates under an agreement with Actors' Equity Association and is a TCG Member Theatre.
