The Warehouse Theatre is a cultural cornerstone of Greenville's Historic West End District and home to at least six productions a year, as well as The Upstate Shakespeare Festival at Falls Park, Resident Theatre Companies, Actors in Education program, Improv and more. The Warehouse Theatre operates as a small professional theatre (SPT - Tier Three) employing Equity and Non-Equity actors.
In our award-winning converted textile warehouse, you can see theatre that you can't find anywhere else in the Upstate region—from re-envisioned classics to cutting-edge new works. Yet, our role in the community is more than just stage productions. Forums held before each main stage production cover related topics and foster discussion, growth and collaboration within our community. And we don’t limit ourselves to “safe” topics; they are designed to challenge us individually and collectively.
Likewise, we also value the importance of childhood education. Our partnership with 50 schools in the upstate and midlands of South Carolina provide a wide array of workshops, masterclasses and residencies for students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th Grade.
